Kristen Anne Bell (1980) is an incredibly popular American performer and actress. She was born and raised in Huntington Woods Michigan as the daughter of Lorelei Frygier who was a nurse - and Tom Bell - a television director - she is an American actress and singer. Her ancestry is Polish (mother) as well as German, English, Irish, and Scottish (father). Kristen discovered her talents within the industry of entertainment at a young age. She was just 12 when she appeared at her first audition. She was successful and got the role of Raggedy Ann and Andy. Bell had an agent appointed by her mother at the age of 13 and was subsequently cast as a model on newspapers and television commercials. Then, she also began classes in acting. Bell had an uncredited role in the film Polish Wedding (1998) in 1998. Bell was a student at Shrine Catholic High School and was part of music as well as the drama club. The Wizard of Oz production at her highschool won Bell the role of the lead Dorothy role. Bell then moved in New York City, to the Tisch School of the Arts. She studied musical theater there. Bell left the university in 2001, and began taking on the role Becky in the film Tom Sawyer. In 2001, Bell made her first credit debut as Becky in Pootie Tang. But the film cut her character out of the movie and she only appears on the screen credits. Bell played part of the Broadway revival of The Crucible starring Liam Neeson as well as Angela Bettis.
