Sharon Yvonne Stone born 10th March 1958 to Dorothy Lawson, a accountant and Joseph William Stone 2nd, a former tool and die maker and factory worker. Michael, Kelly and Patrick are three of her siblings. Stone started second grade in kindergarten at the age of five. Saegertown Senior High School, Saegertown Pennsylvania, was where she received her diploma in 1975. She also competed and was crowned at the Miss Pennsylvania beauty contest. Stone moved to New Jersey with her aunt New Jersey, where she was interested in pursuing a modeling career. A month later, Stone signed up at the Ford Modeling Agency. In Europe she was able to spend a whole year living in Milano as well as Paris. Stone, however, became dissatisfied with the acting and modeling in Europe. She decided to continue her career as an actress during the time living in Europe. Woody Allen's movie, "Stardust Memories", was a mixed success at the age of 20.
